RESILIENT ENERGY AUSTRALIA
Australia’s Fuel Security Is Under Pressure
Resilient Energy Australia is advancing a domestic refining solution to strengthen national energy security and supply chain resilience.
PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT
Domestic Oil Refining Project Announced for Gladstone, Queensland
Resilient Energy Australia has announced the development of a large-scale domestic oil refining project in Gladstone, Queensland, designed to strengthen Australia’s fuel security and reduce reliance on imported refined products.
The project has secured strategic land from the State Government and is progressing through advanced feasibility, permitting and stakeholder engagement phases.
Australia’s Fuel Supply Is Increasingly Exposed
Australia relies heavily on imported refined fuels supported by long and complex global supply chains.
As a geographically remote market, Australia is particularly vulnerable to disruption during geopolitical or economic instability.
Fuel supply is critical to mining, agriculture and freight.
A System Built for Efficiency & Resilience
Domestic refining capacity has declined significantly in recent years.
Imports now dominate Australia’s fuel supply system, reducing control during disruption scenarios.
